susamlı lahana

I highly recommend making this before the season ends. It’s very simple, and unlike the cabbage we’re used to, it’s a very different, slightly mischievous version that everyone will love 😀

I wash the cabbage and cut it into large pieces. I add olive oil, salt, and garlic powder. It cooks in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius (top and bottom heat) in about 20-25 minutes, and it even starts to caramelize.

I put it on a plate and added reduced-salt soy sauce. I’ve had that soy sauce in the fridge for maybe 3 years and it’s still not finished. It’s something I love but use very, very rarely. I add it once every 40 years, when I feel like it, when I want a Far Eastern vibe. Finally, I added the green parts of fresh spring onions and sesame seeds. It was very, very delicious ☺️

You can also use any sauce you like instead of soy sauce. Regular vinegar, balsamic vinegar, I think they all go very well.

Please try it before the cabbage is gone 🥰
