My holistic health and nutrition journey began with a personal experience. Being diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes at age 28 was a major turning point in my life. I entered a process of rebuilding my own health by fundamentally changing my diet and lifestyle. Through this process, I experienced firsthand the impact of clean, natural eating, movement, and lifestyle choices on the body and mind.

My own healing journey gradually turned into a deeper desire to learn and share. Fifteen years after graduating from Istanbul University’s Faculty of Business Administration, I trained in Holistic Nutrition Consulting and Health Coaching at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, based in New York. I then completed Functional Medicine Health Coaching training at the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy, becoming the first person in our country to introduce and popularize the concepts of Health Coaching and Functional Medicine to a wide audience.
Today, building on more than 12 years of experience, I continue my work by incorporating mindfulness-based approaches, mindful eating, nervous system regulation, and yoga training. At the same time, through my Naturopathic Clinical Nutrition Therapy training at CNM International in the UK, I explore the physiological and clinical aspects of nutrition in greater depth.
In my work, I believe that nutrition, mind, and lifestyle cannot be considered separately. My goal is to help people build a sustainable and balanced life by better understanding their bodies.
Health is a holistic process shaped not only by what we eat, but also by our lifestyle, stress levels, relationships, sleep quality, and mental state. For this reason, in my work I don’t address nutrition in isolation, but evaluate it within the integrity of body–mind–lifestyle.
When working with clients, I focus not just on what we eat, but on why we eat, the effects of stress and emotions on our eating behaviors, and understanding the signals our bodies give us. Because sustainable health is possible not through short-term diets, but by getting to know our bodies, understanding how our hormones function, and organizing our lifestyle accordingly.
Throughout my training, I’ve had the opportunity to learn from leading experts around the world in functional medicine, nutritional science, mindfulness-based approaches, and nervous system regulation, and to bring these approaches together in my own method. Today, in my work I combine the Functional Medicine approach, naturopathic nutrition, mindfulness, and nervous system regulation techniques.
I believe every individual’s metabolism, life history, and needs are different. For this reason, I don’t apply a single nutritional method or a one-size-fits-all program.
My goal is to help clients understand their own bodies, supporting them in developing a sustainable and balanced lifestyle.

MY APPROACH
In my work, rather than calories, restrictions, or rigid diet lists, I center body awareness, personal story, history, and sustainable eating habits. Lasting well-being becomes possible when nutrition, hormone balance, stress management, and nervous system regulation are addressed together.
A food that’s good for one person may not be good for another. For this reason, I recognize that every individual’s metabolism and life story is unique. My goal is to help clients understand the language of their own bodies and support them on a journey toward a healthier, more balanced, and more peaceful life.
WHAT IS A NATUROPATHIC CLINICAL NUTRITION THERAPIST?
A Naturopathic Clinical Nutrition Therapist is a holistic health professional who aims to support individuals’ health using nutrition and lifestyle factors. The core principle of this approach is “using food as medicine.” A person’s current health status, lifestyle, stress level, digestive system, hormonal balance, and environmental factors are evaluated together to create a personalized nutrition and lifestyle plan.
The naturopathic nutrition approach aims to understand the underlying possible causes of health issues rather than focusing only on symptoms. For this reason, clients’ medical history, daily habits, sleep patterns, stress levels, and eating habits are evaluated in detail. The goal is to strengthen long-term health and well-being by supporting the body’s natural capacity for balance and healing.
Therapists working in this field guide clients using tools such as whole and natural foods, individualized nutrition plans, functional foods, supplements when needed, and lifestyle recommendations. At the same time, they develop personalized recommendations by considering the role of nutrition in areas such as digestive health, blood sugar balance, hormone balance, immune system, and energy metabolism.
Naturopathic Clinical Nutrition Therapy is a holistic approach that brings together knowledge from modern nutritional science and traditional health approaches. In this approach, every individual is recognized as biochemically unique, and nutrition recommendations are therefore planned individually. The goal is to support an individual’s health not just in the short term, but sustainably and in a balanced way over the long term. Building on my 10 years of experience and knowledge in Functional Medicine Health Coaching, I take great pride and joy in having added Naturopathic Nutrition Therapy training, an approach that largely overlaps with it.
My way of approaching illness has always been rooted in a holistic perspective. With this new identity, my understanding of physiological nutrition, the processes taking place in the human body, and how our past experiences and lifestyle choices are reflected in our current state of health has deepened even further.
Today, being able to support my clients within this broad perspective I’ve gained and within the boundaries of my professional ethics is a great source of satisfaction for me. My goal is to accompany people in feeling good effortlessly and sustainably by helping them better understand their bodies. My greatest wish is for everyone to be able to live a healthy and good life within their own sense of balance.
