The weather is awful. It’s pitch black, and there’s a torrential downpour. In weather like this, a nice toast for Sunday breakfast deserves it 🙂 But it has to be grain-free, gluten-free, and still taste like bread. Here it is, the toast bread you’ve been looking for. I used to make it so often.
(Keywords: gluten-free bread, healthy toast, toast bread, almond flour)
It’s so simple. Just 3 ingredients.
Ingredients:
1 egg
2 tablespoons almond flour
A pinch of baking powder
Mix the 3 ingredients well. Pour into a baking pan lightly greased with butter. I have a tiny baking pan that’s exactly this size. A wide cup would also work. Any round pan the size of a hamburger bun will do.

I bake this in the oven at 170 degrees for 20 minutes. I don’t let it brown too much because it’s going to go into the toaster 🙂
After letting it cool a bit, I cut it in half and spread tomato paste inside. I added my cheese and then heated the toaster and pressed it down.

It was ready in 2 minutes. You’ll be surprised how filling it is.
You can make extra of this bread on the weekend and freeze it. You can make toast in two minutes on your way to work during the week.
It’s a super toast bread that doesn’t cause any heaviness, bloating, or gas 🙂
I wish everyone a wonderful weekend. If you make the bread, please let me know 🙂
