Kıymalı Börek

You asked for it, pastry lovers 😊 I made a minced meat pastry.

Crispy, very delicious, and it has as much carbohydrate as a slice of bread 💃🏼 but tastes like a pastry. Those who love oatmeal pastries will love this too. You can check out the steps in my Instagram post.

– I processed 4 tablespoons of gluten-free oatmeal in a food processor, leaving it coarse.
– I mixed it with 1 egg and 2 tablespoons of kefir. I didn’t have milk, so I used kefir. Milk would work too 😊
– I let the mixture sit for 15 minutes to absorb the liquids. It’s actually just like oatmeal pastry. I have a small 10 cm diameter baking dish. I lined the bottom with parchment paper and poured half of the mixture in. – Then I added 3 tablespoons of sautéed minced meat in between. I had some ready-made, tomato-based. It’s also delicious with just minced meat sautéed in onions, without tomato paste. In fact, it’s even better. – I poured the remaining half of the mixture on top.
– I melted some clarified butter and spread it on top. Butter or olive oil would also work. – It baked in a 180-degree oven for 20-25 minutes.

It’s crispy, just like you know. I think this is for one person. You can increase the quantity to 3 or 4 and make more. I’ll do that next time. I loved it. It’s also great when heated in a pan. This is another one I’d say please try. Will it dethrone oatmeal pie? Absolutely! 😍

Wishing everyone healthy, happy, and sugar-free days!
