Fındıklı Tuzlu Kraker

Good morning everyone 🙂

I’m not feeling very hungry these days, so I thought I’d share some information 🙂 It’s a question I get asked a lot:

How to extend the feeling of fullness or experience quality hunger (without trembling hands and feet). I achieved this by eliminating grains from my routine. I had very high hypoglycemia after developing diabetes. There were times when I would faint in the streets and couldn’t go two hours without eating. Those who’ve experienced it know how difficult it is. A high-fat, low-carbohydrate, grain-free diet is the key to staying full for longer. Legumes are about once a week. I solved this with plenty of vegetables, good fats, good and controlled animal protein, and one piece of fruit a day. Even gluten-free grains are now a cheat meal for me. For those wondering how to manage without bread, I recommend these crackers for breakfast.

– 1 cup hazelnut flour or almond flour (you can grind almonds or hazelnuts at home using a food processor)
– 1 egg white
– 35 gr (about the size of a matchbox) aged cheddar or another hard cheese
– A pinch of cumin, coriander, or thyme (spices are up to your preference, but coriander and cumin go very well with it).

Mix all the ingredients and knead. Spread the dough thinly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper using wet hands. If you wear white gloves and wet them, you can roll out the dough much more easily.
Cut the dough into your desired shape and bake in a 150-degree turbo oven for 15 minutes. After taking it out of the oven, let it cool down a bit; it becomes crispy during this time. I recommend not eating it while it’s hot, if you can resist 😊
I would like to remind you again not to exceed 150 degrees in the oven so as not to damage the good fats in the hazelnuts or almonds. Even a shorter duration would be better if possible. You can make it a little longer.

Try it and enjoy the love 💗

With love,
