Glutensiz Erik Kıtırdatması (Crumble)

I really wish technology could send scents when making things like this 😍

The crunchy treat I promised a week ago has arrived 🙂 I would have loved to send you its smell and taste. Plum crunch, or as foreigners call it, the healthiest version of a crumble. You can check out the steps on my Instagram account.

-I put 6-7 pitted red plums in a pan. I added 3 cloves and cooked them over low heat. Once cooked, I mashed them slightly with the back of a spoon to reduce the remaining liquid. Finally, I removed the cloves. I put it in a small 12 cm baking dish. If you prepared it as a fruit puree like in my post last week, you can add 4-5 tablespoons of that.

-In a bowl, I mixed 2 tablespoons of oatmeal and 2 tablespoons of hazelnut flour (almond flour also works). You can get hazelnut and almond flour by grinding them in a food processor. Just oatmeal will do.

-Then I mixed the mixture in the bowl with 2 tablespoons of coconut oil and cinnamon. Last week, someone in my Elimination group used tahini instead of this oil. That was crazy too. Unsalted butter would also work, or any oil that is odorless and doesn’t have a strong taste. But the oil is essential because it provides the crispness.

-I also put the oat/hazelnut/oil mixture on top of the plums and sent them to the grill oven at 150 degrees. I didn’t time it, I was very busy at the time, but I think the top was crispy in 15-20 minutes. I quickly took a picture because my mouth was watering 🤭

I also brewed some tea, and I ate it like crazy 😍 It’s incredibly simple, it only takes 5 minutes to prepare. My plums were sweet, but if your plums are sour, you can add a handful of raisins while they’re cooking. It can also be adapted to any fruit. It’s delicious with peaches, and with apples too.

Wishing everyone healthy, happy, and sugar-free days.

With love,

Sema
