Hazelnuts go very well with savory snacks, and these crackers prove it. Plus, their healthy fats and low carbohydrate content keep you feeling full for a long time. They take only 5 minutes to make and turned out so delicious! I prepared this recipe for Gürsoy Hazelnut’s Hazelnut Delights account. It turned out so well, I thought it should be included here too 🙂
Ingredients:
- 1 cup hazelnut flour
- 1 egg white
- 35 gr aged cheddar or another hard cheese
- A pinch of cumin, coriander, thyme (spices are up to your preference, but coriander and cumin go very well with it…)
Mix all the ingredients and knead. Spread the dough thinly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper using wet hands. If you wear white gloves and wet them, you can roll out the dough much more easily.
Cut the thinly spread dough into your desired shape and bake in a 150-degree convection oven for 15 minutes.
Once out of the oven, let it cool slightly; it becomes crispy during this time. I recommend not eating it while it’s hot, if you can resist…
