Ece. K Mutlu Son

We started this journey with the goal of losing weight, but it turned into a path where Ece discovered her body, completely changed her eating habits, and got to know herself.

The result of our 5-month adventure was wonderful 🙂

My three main goals before starting the program were:

– Losing weight (getting below 60 kg) – this was important because it was a weight I hadn’t been able to reach in 10 years.

– Learning to listen to my body. (Which diet is right for me, which foods are good for me? Which ones are bad for me?)

– Learning to stop, balance, and maintain weight loss and gain processes

My coach helped me achieve my goals in the following ways:

– Sema, while working towards my goals, taught me what I should eat daily, step by step. I admit, this was difficult at first, but it helped me understand many things about nutrition. I learned how much of what I should eat and how to eat it. This added a significant level of awareness to my life.

– She helped me reduce alcohol consumption. Even after drinking, I learned to balance my life with the rules she ingrained in my mind.

– Because I had digestive problems, I used to give up and go back to my old routines because I wasn’t properly guided in previous diets. This time, for the first time in my life, she taught me how to regulate my digestive system.

– She helped me implement diets I was afraid of. I adapted things to my life that I had heard about before but wasn’t sure I could do. Knowing that I can balance my diet now reassures me.

– Easy and -With its quick recipes, it helped me become someone who can quickly make and incorporate bread substitutes into my life.

-I learned to integrate exercise into my life in the last month of the program, something I had never been able to make a routine for before. With its suggestions, it helped me establish my own discipline regarding exercise, something I had been putting off for so long.

The biggest change I’ve noticed since starting the program:

– I’ve learned to make more conscious decisions about what I eat. By observing my body’s reaction, I’ve started to understand whether something is good for me or not. This has taught me not to consume anything that isn’t good for my body.

For example, I used to be someone who loved drinking beer. Following Sema’s suggestions, I drank very little for four months. One Saturday evening, with rain outside and a good movie playing inside, I suddenly felt the urge to have a beer. Actually, I had other drinks at home, but because I wanted to break the rules, I just drank that beer and enjoyed myself. However, the discomfort I felt while drinking the beer was so pronounced. After I managed to finish it, it took maybe three hours for the effects on my stomach to subside. After experiencing this firsthand, I decided not to consume anything that isn’t good for my body, unless it’s a very special beer. I think that’s a big change.

– Besides that, I don’t hesitate to go into the kitchen. I think the self-description I had convinced myself was “I’m not that healthy and careful a person” is gone. And being proudly a size 36 is probably the biggest change.

I would describe my coach as follows:

– Sema is incredibly motivating in helping her client change by gradually preparing them. Because she helps you incorporate everything into your life step by step, the thoughts that want to sabotage you slowly evolve.

– Since she doesn’t just look at things in terms of weight loss/gain, she offers a holistic perspective on the enlightenments you experience during psychological periods. In this sense, feeling supported is reassuring.

– It’s comforting to have someone you see as an authority figure and who understands you. This way, you don’t hide your escapades, and in the long run, you can adapt to what she says.

I recommend this program to those experiencing the following problems:

Those lacking nutritional awareness

Those who lose and then regain weight

Those seeking discipline in their lives

Those who believe they have bowel and digestive problems

Thank you so much to Ece for her wonderful feedback. It was a fantastic 5 months for me too. She was someone I enjoyed working with very much, and I’m incredibly happy that we added health and awareness to her life in her early 30s.
