I’m continuing to share wonderful results and experiences from my valued participants.

İ.E.A.

What was your goal when starting this program?

I thought I was doing something wrong. While eating this healthily and well(!), why was I getting hungry this often, why was I getting irritated, why did my eyes wander toward food, why was I having eating attacks — or did I have an eating disorder? I signed up with these questions in mind, saying “this program is the final stage.” I signed up, but I still had this thought in my head: “you already eat well, hopefully you won’t have wasted your money” 🙂

How did the program help you achieve your goals?

I wish the program had been longer, I wish we could keep getting emails from you every day 🙁 Above all, it’s logical and reasonable — you don’t just throw mud at anything 🙂 The fact that there’s a logical reason behind every single step was the part that impressed me most. In your words, the program turned out “flower by flower.”

What physical and behavioral changes do you notice in yourself as the program ends?

I already had a gluten-free, sugar-free eating style, so I started one step ahead. But here I saw what I was doing too little of and what too much of. Do you know what I loved most? I never cursed at myself saying, “ugh, you overdid it again, ugh, your stomach’s bloated.” We started on February 10th, and since that day I’ve never once put myself down. I think this is incredible 🙂 I used to constantly feel guilt over what I ate. I thought there was something wrong with my “settings.” Seeing all this brought me relief. It turns out I’m not lacking willpower, not gluttonous. I don’t even have an eating disorder, even though I thought this was the case and it scared me. My self-confidence came back, my mind started looking at things more logically. This made me smile and gave me a different mindset :)) Of course physical slimming happened too, but that’s secondary for me. My mind changed, I saw that, and it’s done — the tape-measure numbers are secondary business. Now I’m always telling my husband and son “look, I learned this and that.” My husband says, “God bless Sema Hanım, now we’ll eat more protein” 🙂

Who would you recommend this program to?

Absolutely everyone. Especially everyone like me who thinks they already eat healthily 🙂 Come on in 🙂

Anything you’d like to add…

Do you know what I felt during the livestream? Your mouth can’t keep up with the wealth of knowledge in your head 🙂 I say this as a good thing, don’t misunderstand. You’re so enthusiastic and excited, lucky you. I think you should always write, always explain… Don’t let negative comments and any backlash break your motivation. Let’s start a party and vote, that’s the situation, what more can I say 🙂

A.K.K.

What was your goal when starting this program?

I started with the question “I must be doing something terribly wrong somewhere, but what?” along with “I want to learn now.” Whatever I don’t know or know wrong, learn the correct version. I know from past experience, our Sema teaches 🙂

How did the program help you achieve your goals?

One-word summary: I was hungry. I’ve been hungry for 38 years, and I was trying to fill that with carbs. I saw my healthy-carb addiction, learned how little fat and protein I was eating, calculated it, learned how to track and monitor it. I learned what feeling full actually means. My stomach was growing inward because of carbs it couldn’t push out. Heyo heyo heyo 🙂

What physical and behavioral changes do you notice in yourself as the program ends?

I was coming out of my blessed January birthday celebrations, where my blood sugar had really been jumping around and I couldn’t shake the brain fog no matter what. By the end of 3 weeks, physical changes: my neck slimmed 3.5 cm, my waist 4.5 cm, my calves 4 cm. Behaviorally: NO brain fog! My mind is clear. I can see problems and issues, comprehend them, and solve them quickly. I manage my anxiety easily.

Who would you recommend this program to?

To everyone, but especially to those who’ve tried diets many times, gotten discouraged, could never lose weight, and can’t recognize when they’re hungry.

Anything you’d like to add…

Expressing my feelings isn’t easy at all. As someone who was hungry from the day I was born and put in an incubator, who’s gone through so much until age 38, I’ve read so much, tried so hard to understand this whole nutrition issue on my own. Ayşegül Çoruhlu, Mark Hyman, books, my own biological sciences education — none of it was enough until this age. A constant cycle of slimming down and then, without understanding why, returning to my old state. Youth passing, other health specialists visited, hope and self-confidence broken.

B.Ö.A.

How did the program help you achieve your goals?

My biggest weakness, unfortunately, is sugar. I’m not the type who constantly eats honey-clotted-cream-syrupy desserts, but I crave a single bite of something sweet after every meal. I think it’s a habit, even an addiction. My waist and belly narrowed 3 cm, my hips 1 cm. I have a goal of continuing this eating plan going forward too. In fact, my husband started along with me and he’s very pleased with how he feels.

What physical and behavioral changes do you notice in yourself as the program ends?

I feel lighter, my bloating decreased, I get hungry less often. I still crave sweets, but I can manage it. I want to keep going like this a bit longer and then treat myself with sweets according to the latest recipes you’ve shared.

Who would you recommend this program to?

I recommend this program to everyone who wants to live healthily. It would’ve been nice to learn basic things like what, how, and when to eat at a younger age, but wherever we turn back from harm is profit, right? 🙂

Anything you’d like to add…

When I signed up for the program, I became addicted to your daily morning emails. I think I’ll miss that the most… No amount of thanks would be enough for your effort, your smiling face, and the very valuable knowledge you gave us.

B.U.M.

How did the program help you achieve your goals?

I understood the logic behind it better. I learned to fish. I can decide what to eat every day, I can plan, and my options are varied. I see this as a lifestyle. I’m applying it now too.

What physical and behavioral changes do you notice in yourself as the program ends?

Physically, my waist slimmed 3-4 cm, my hips 2-3 cm. I don’t weigh myself, so I don’t know what happened to my weight, but I fit into my clothes comfortably. I feel light and full. I’m calmer. I don’t experience pre-period symptoms, and my sleep is better.

Who would you recommend this program to?

I recommend it to everyone. Most of all to women over 40. As metabolism slows down, our ability to indulge decreases too. This program teaches eating without much restriction, emphasizing self-compassion.

Anything you’d like to add…

Honestly I had doubts at the start. I thought that due to hormonal reasons, even eating properly wouldn’t change much. I saw with joy and surprise that it did change. Since I’m a yoga instructor, I loved the holistic elements like meditation and a compassionate approach to the body.

S.O.

What was your goal when starting this program?

I think I’ll never forget that morning I saw the program announcement on Sema Hanım’s Instagram page. The day before, at an endocrinologist appointment, I’d learned that the reason for my sudden, unexplained weight gain was Hashimoto’s. When a doctor of mine brought up perimenopause saying “we’re not young anymore,” I left her office thinking, “okay, but what do I need to do?” The next morning, while having breakfast with toast, reading someone’s comments about the “6 cm” program having just completed it, I couldn’t believe it. Because what that person described experiencing at the start was exactly identical to what I felt that morning. My goal was to get an answer to “why can’t I lose weight and what do I do now?”

How did the program help you achieve your goals?

Everything became incredibly easy. What fullness really means, how proper eating should be, not living tied to lists, let alone going hungry — I adapted very easily to my new healthy eating program, without even thinking “how will I finish this meal.” Sema Hanım guided us throughout the program in a way that left absolutely no question unanswered in our minds.

What physical and behavioral changes do you notice in yourself as the program ends?

The change started by the end of the first week. By the end of week 3, my waist slimmed 6 cm and I lost 4.5 kilos. Besides this, my sleep got into a routine. Someone who used to struggle to fall asleep, I now go to bed at 11:30 PM with my eyes almost already closed.

Who would you recommend this program to?

To other health professionals who try to normalize this by saying “we’re not young anymore” 🙂 I recommend it to everyone. Whether for weight loss or maintenance purposes, weight is somehow controlled. I recommend it to everyone who wants to invest in their health.

Anything you’d like to add…

Thank you for teaching me proper eating and the truths about nutrition, and for your support in getting to know my body.

A.D.O.

I applied the DKYY program with you in February. Almost 1 more month has passed since then and I’m still maintaining my habits. I still eyeball things now, sometimes pop 1-2 chocolates in my mouth, and once a month happily eat a single einkorn-flour pastry too. And even though I didn’t think about it at all, my waist has stopped shrinking now but my hips continue to decrease in cm. My weight dropped 3 kg, which was my goal. My fat percentage decreased too. Honestly, thank you so much. You truly gave us a great tool. Using it is up to us.

N.B.

What was your goal when starting this program?

I could say learning proper eating from the source I trust most as correct. I’m in the menopause process. I chose to join this program as a first step toward starting a regular, balanced eating pattern.

How did the program help you achieve your goals?

We got pill-form knowledge on many topics I’d been curious about. We saw it’s possible to progress without stress, without wearing ourselves down. It was wonderful.

What physical and behavioral changes do you notice in yourself as the program ends?

There was slimming and weight loss. For the first time, I’ve dropped below what I called my “resistance weight.” Most importantly, I feel more fit. Even if people eat sweets next to me, I don’t crave it 🙂 Even my nails seem to have gotten stronger 🙂 Thank you so much, a program prepared with great care. Bless your effort.

B.Y.

What physical and behavioral changes do you notice in yourself as the program ends?

I feel like the brain fog is dissipating. Sema Hanım said “don’t weigh yourself,” but I did weigh myself — I’ve dropped from 76 kilos to 72 kilos! But my waist went from 106 cm to 92 cm — that’s what really surprises me. How is this possible in 3 weeks, I can’t wrap my head around it.

Who would you recommend this program to?

I recommend it to all women, especially Type 2 diabetics like me, who want to reduce their fat percentage, lose weight, who are trying to love themselves, and who want to take a step forward.

Anything you’d like to add…

I love you so much. Honestly, I had no hope starting out. My husband said, “you’re throwing your money away again as usual,” because for years I’d spent huge amounts of money on packaged meals, medications, and other health specialists. I even went to weight-loss camps. I think this program even shifted my focus regarding weight loss. My focus right now isn’t exactly on losing weight — it’s on melting my belly, getting rid of fat, and calming my mind.

İ.D.U.

What was your goal when starting this program?

My goal was to learn proper eating.

How did the program help you achieve your goals?

Once I learned how wrong I was eating, I automatically lost 3 kilos and slimmed down 🙂

What physical and behavioral changes do you notice in yourself as the program ends?

I’m definitely more conscious now. I can control what and how much I need to eat. My previously flawed and wrong eating habit — grabbing a little of this and that — has ended, and I feel so, so much better.

Who would you recommend this program to?

After the first week, I’ve been begging everyone I come across, “please set aside a budget and get this program” 🙂 For 3 weeks I’ve mentioned you in most of my gratitude videos 🙂 I’ll bring my husband on board after the holiday too. Even just doing intermittent fasting made him feel a difference — who knows what would happen if he fully regulated his eating… Our paths will cross with you again soon in the “Kız Gibi” program too.

Anything you’d like to add…

You said in your closing email, “even though the program ends, I’m still here, and I’m as close as an email away whenever you need me” — this reassured me incredibly. Thank you so much for your existence and for every piece of knowledge you generously share. I’m so glad you exist, Sema Hanım…

D.E.

What was your goal when starting this program?

To change my eating pattern in a sustainable way.

How did the program help you achieve your goals?

I always thought I was hungry and that sweets were an incredible necessity. My sweet cravings zeroed out. My intestines got even more comfortable. My sleep quality increased.

What physical and behavioral changes do you notice in yourself as the program ends?

My waist area slimmed 4 cm, and my taste buds seem to have changed — it’s as if there’s always a sweet aroma 🙂

Who would you recommend this program to?

I recommend it to everyone who has complaints about their eating pattern.

Anything you’d like to add…

This is my 4th or 5th program with you. I make progress with pleasure every time. I’m so glad you exist.

M.T.

What was your goal when starting this program?

To slim down a bit, but more importantly to learn the eating style suited to my body.

How did the program help you achieve your goals?

Sema Hanım was always clear and illuminating from start to finish. Her knowledge and experience left no question marks in my mind about nutrition.

What physical and behavioral changes do you notice in yourself as the program ends?

I’m an IBS patient — anyone who suffers from it knows what that’s like. Right now I have full hope about completely healing regarding this condition. Physically, I slimmed down a bit and started fitting into some of my pants, but most importantly, my IBS-related pain focal point improved. That pain that used to irritate me and continuously nag at me, giving me the feeling I was about to get my period, is gone now. My quality of life has risen. Once I learned to manage insulin, I got reacquainted with the concept of healthy eating. I also freed myself from medications that only provided a few hours of relief — I don’t need them anymore either. On this lifelong journey, your voice will always be somewhere in the back of my mind.

Who would you recommend this program to?

To everyone who wants to do themselves a favor.

Anything you’d like to add…

The process was wonderful in every sense. Besides healthy eating, the best thing I learned from you was that a person can eat healthily without hurting themselves no matter what. I learned to accept the difficulties as they are and continue on this path. Even when I was upset, I got up and prepared that plate. In the past I would have gotten by with a small handful of almonds and walnuts. Have I gotten closer to loving myself, or closer to continuing my own path despite life? I think both became possible with this program. Thank you so much. I also thank Tuğçe Hanım for her effort and support throughout the process.

S.A.

What was your goal when starting this program?

Lately I’d really started feeling like a trash bin — it was time to say stop to this. My goal was to return to health and, as a result, achieve a healthy appearance.

How did the program help you achieve your goals?

A wonderful program! Unlike rote information and menus, explaining the reasons behind every piece of information you gave helped me a lot.

What physical and behavioral changes do you notice in yourself as the program ends?

I think I applied the program well; I experienced an incredible change I didn’t expect from myself. You explain things with such beautiful logic that literally all the pieces fall into place. You’re amazing! There’s no longer such a thing as “hangry” — that’s the most important thing. In the past I used to hurt my loved ones with my irritable behavior and sudden hunger. I, who said “I can never feel full without bread,” now have breakfast without bread. I’m amazed at myself 🙂 It’s as if I got rid of all my toxins and bloating in the first week. I had a very bothersome, extreme stomach bloating — it went away immediately! By the end of the program I only have a tiny little belly, cute as a quince, very sweet 🙂 The eating logic has settled into my life now, and that belly will go soon too — I’m continuing.

I can’t help but mention this: at the point where I’d reached my maximum weight, since I had no pants that fit, I’d bought myself a pair a good size larger and was wearing that. It’s now FALLING OFF! I haven’t felt joy like this in a long time 🙂

Who would you recommend this program to?

Everyone! I’m telling all my friends, and they’ll start whenever they feel ready.

Anything you’d like to add…

I feel lucky to have gotten to know and trust you. There’s so much information pollution and nonsense on the internet nowadays that people get confused about what to read. But from the moment I first started following you, you gave a different kind of trust. Your knowledge and work are very valuable. I hope you reach even better places, worldwide.

İ.Y.

What was your goal when starting this program?

I’d started feeling very unhealthy in my body. My weight had gone well above my normal. Even though I tried to eat balanced, especially sweet cravings and extreme hunger states had started wearing me out a lot. I aimed to have a good eating pattern and take good care of myself.

How did the program help you achieve your goals?

I learned that I can feel full, that I can wait for my meal without my hands trembling, and especially that I can be healthy without going hungry. I understood the scientific side of our appetite and eating very well, and it made a lot of sense to me. I learned why I do what I do or how the nutrients I take into my body will affect me. I discovered the pleasure of feeling full with the right foods. My energy increased and my motivation rose. Being able to continue for 3 weeks without getting bored showed me I could permanently incorporate this into my life. Also, having an eating pattern that lets me easily continue my daily life without preparing separate meals for myself was probably the most simplifying aspect.

What physical and behavioral changes do you notice in yourself as the program ends?

I slimmed down and lost weight, but these actually came second. I feel my body is healthier. It turns out I can survive at night without “stuffing” something into my mouth 🙂 Snacking turns out to be purely a hand habit, and once we’re full with the right foods, there’s really no need for it. When starting, I especially thought I’d experience sweet cravings, but physically I never craved sweets at all. Of course, out of habit you say “ah, if only there were something sweet,” but this never turned into a crisis. Thank goodness for tahini and peanut butter 🙂 Now there’s a thing called mindful eating in my life. I know what I’ll eat, how much I’ll eat, and why I’ll eat it — and what my body needs 🙂

Who would you recommend this program to?

I recommend it to everyone who loves themselves. To everyone who wants to age healthily, who wants to use their energy properly.

Anything you’d like to add…

I’d been following you for a very long time but could never manage to put it into practice. First of all, thank you so, so, so much. For not just giving us a list and moving on, but explaining the logic of the matter with scientific facts and reasoning… Bless your mind, your effort 🙂

A.Y.

What was your goal when starting this program?

Over the recent months I had about 3 kilos of excess weight whose origin and remedy I couldn’t figure out. I kept thinking, “I already eat healthy, what more can I restrict,” and getting pessimistic. Then I thought I could only solve this problem with Sema Hanım, from whom I’d learned healthy eating 2 years earlier, and signed up for the program.

How did the program help you achieve your goals?

Since I have an autoimmune condition, I’d joined Sema Hanım’s elimination program in 2023. Since then I’ve been eating sugar-free, gluten-free, and dairy-free. I don’t consume packaged products. This program helped me understand where I was going wrong despite all this healthy eating pattern. I knew I needed to cut out the carb-heavy foods I’d increased in recent months — rice, gluten-free simit, potatoes — but I couldn’t do it. The motivation and positive energy Sema Hanım gave made a tremendous difference.

What physical and behavioral changes do you notice in yourself as the program ends?

Even though Sema Hanım said “don’t weigh yourself,” of course I weighed myself 😊 And the result I got from March 10 to March 26: I lost 2.5 kg. My belly area: 2.5 cm

And hold on — my waist area slimmed a full 6.5 cm!

Even my arms and legs show an average difference of 2 cm.

Even my exercise instructor said at the end of the first week, “whatever you’re doing, you look incredibly slimmer” 🥳

Who would you recommend this program to?

There’s no one I wouldn’t recommend this program to! It suits everyone. Those coming from chocolate waterfalls, as well as those like me who eat healthy and exercise, will all benefit from this program, I’m sure.

Anything you’d like to add…

Since I have an autoimmune condition, my husband was very much against my dieting. I had a hard time convincing him. He said, “if I see you eating too little or insufficiently, I’ll never allow it, start accordingly.” At first I weighed my food without letting him notice, but when he saw during the program that I was consuming more protein than ever, and swimming in olives, walnuts, and tahini so my fat intake wouldn’t fall short, he felt much more at ease 😄

No matter how well we think we’re continuing to eat, we can all unknowingly drift a bit off course from time to time. I realized there’s never a need to stress out and flounder, restrict food and struggle, or throw in the towel saying “in for a penny, in for a pound.”

Thanks to proper guidance and the tremendous motivation it provides, getting back on track is both very easy and very enjoyable ❤️

S.O.F.

What was your goal when starting this program?

I did diets under health specialist supervision for a long time, but even on very low-calorie lists I couldn’t lose weight beyond the first 2 kilos. Then, with emotional eating attacks, I gained weight above the point where I’d started. I joined this program along with the accompanying “Farkındalıkla ve Stresle Yeme” [Mindful and Stress Eating] training to learn an eating model that would get my metabolism working properly again.

How did the program help you achieve your goals?

By the end of the program I’d slimmed 4 cm and lost 4.5 kilos. I rediscovered the feeling of fullness and learned clearly how to fulfill the macros I need. I feel lightened and energetic.

What physical and behavioral changes do you notice in yourself as the program ends?

First of all, I learned that eating protein-rich without constipation is possible! I no longer fear animal proteins. I started experiencing the feeling of satisfaction with a huge bowl of enriched salad at every meal. I realized that planning my meals ahead and doing prep made my life easier. The post-meal heaviness and my extreme need for sweets went away. The recipes were very useful for not feeling deprived. I started tasting fruit again, and I grasped the importance of what and when I eat, and which source I should get my calories from, more than total calories.

Who would you recommend this program to?

I recommend it to everyone who wants to learn eating and wants to live a healthy life independent of lists.

Anything you’d like to add…

Thank you so much for your guidance throughout the program.

N.G.

What was your goal when starting this program?

My goal when starting the program was to lose weight, get out of the crisis I was in, and find where I was going wrong.

How did the program help you achieve your goals?

What do you mean “help” — I experienced a massive revelation. It’s very hard for me to believe in something, I’m very skeptical, but in this program I learned the mathematics of the matter, and I said, “this is it!”

What physical and behavioral changes do you notice in yourself as the program ends?

Honestly, I literally slimmed down! I have at least 5 cm of slimming. I broke the weight that wouldn’t budge. Most importantly, the fog in my mind cleared. I used to read a lot, know everything. I thought I was something, but I could never bring all that knowledge together under one common denominator. Other health specialists, people, tell you “do this,” but they can’t explain why, and I’m someone who questions everything a lot. For the first time, everything settled in my mind. I could say I’ve found peace 😊

Who would you recommend this program to?

It appeals to everyone. Those who want to lose weight, eat healthily, change their lifestyle… You don’t have to stick to lists given by others. Whatever’s at home, whatever’s in your fridge, whatever meal you feel like eating that day… All you need is to learn how. And with this program, you’ll learn exactly that!

Anything you’d like to add…

I was amazed by your energy and sincerity. Everyone always said this, but seeing it myself was something else entirely. I struggle to learn things — I need it explained to me like I’m a child, and believe me, I couldn’t even find a question to ask during the livestreams. Everything was so clear, the program was prepared with such wonderful detail, that there’s never a question mark left in your mind. Bless your hands, thank you so much to you and Tuğçe Hanım ❤️

A.Y.

What was your goal when starting this program?

My goal was to slim down and learn and apply a sustainable healthy eating style.

How did the program help you achieve your goals?

I learned a lot and saw that I could apply it.

What physical and behavioral changes do you notice in yourself as the program ends?

Thanks to this program, I realized that content-wise I was actually generally eating properly, but I didn’t know how to adjust the amounts. That’s why I always described myself as lacking willpower. In this program I learned how to make portion adjustments. On top of that, my waist and belly each slimmed 3 cm, and I lost 3 kilos 🙂

Who would you recommend this program to?

Everyone! Healthy eating is talked about a lot, but especially on social media there’s a lot of wrong information. There are very few experts like Sema Hanım.

Anything you’d like to add…

Thank you so, so much for the wonderful knowledge you shared. I’m so glad you exist! I tell all my family and friends about you.

D.Y.

What was your goal when starting this program?

My goal was to be able to lose weight and get rid of my bloating.

How did the program help you achieve your goals?

The program made me re-examine my eating habits. I saw where I was going wrong. My body was going into restriction mode because my protein and fat intake was well below what it should be. I’m now eating with different food combinations, and I’ve already slimmed 4.5 cm.

What physical and behavioral changes do you notice in yourself as the program ends?

With the program I lost 1.5 kg and experienced 4.5 cm of slimming in my belly area. My waist area slimmed 2 cm.

Who would you recommend this program to?

Just like I’ve told my closest friends, I’ve already recommended it to everyone in my family around my age group 🙂

Anything you’d like to add…

Thank you so much for everything. I’ll continue on my path most of all by remembering your motivation and your belief in us.

İ.A.

What was your goal when starting this program?

My goal starting the program was for it to help with the bloating, gas problem, and constipation I was experiencing.

How did the program help you achieve your goals?

My bloating decreased, but this is a process. Since I’m just starting to get to know myself anew, I still don’t fully know which foods don’t cause bloating for me, and I’m learning by trying. As for constipation, it definitely helped.

What physical and behavioral changes do you notice in yourself as the program ends?

I learned to feed my body with foods that are good for it instead of seeing it as a trash bin, and this brought me inner peace. My chocolate and sweet cravings decreased, and I saw that it’s possible to feel full while eating less.

Who would you recommend this program to?

I’d recommend it to everyone who wants to lose weight, learn to take care of their body, and eat properly.

Anything you’d like to add…

Sema Hanım, first of all you’re so sweet 🙂 I’d love to have a friend in my life like you — cheerful, loving to talk, and spreading positive energy around them 🌸 This wonderful quality of yours left me in awe of you 🧿 I joined your program with complaints of gas, bloating, and constipation. Of course my journey of getting to know my body continues, and gas and bloating will happen occasionally — I know this. However, even though I had no hope regarding constipation, I want to say the program did me good 🤭

Learning what and how much I need to eat and my body’s macro needs was the most beautiful kindness I’ve done for myself 🫂 And of course, let’s not forget the slimming waists 👯

Thank you for everything. Also, special thanks for introducing us to such wonderful establishments and flavors. Looking forward to seeing you in new programs… 😍

H.F.Ç.

What was your goal when starting this program?

I had a lot of bloating and excess weight; I started the program to get rid of these.

How did the program help you achieve your goals?

I always thought I ate healthily. As someone who already consumed very little grain and only occasionally ate sweets, I learned where I was going wrong. Without realizing it, I was consuming especially fruit and seeds in very high amounts, and my timing was also wrong.

What physical and behavioral changes do you notice in yourself as the program ends?

First of all, I got rid of my bloating already in the first week. Over three weeks, my waist area slimmed 5 cm, and my belly and legs each slimmed 3 cm. I have no gas problem at all anymore, and what an incredible thing that is! Where I initially thought I wouldn’t feel full, I found myself thinking “how do I complete my macros?” My energy increased, my skin improved. Thank you so much, Sema Hanım.

Who would you recommend this program to?

I tell everyone around me about it!

H.K.

What was your goal when starting this program?

My goal in this program was to remember old knowledge, learn new information, and lose a bit of weight.

How did the program help you achieve your goals?

I got wonderful new knowledge. I was faced with an amazing wealth of information, I was in awe. I don’t know if I’ve lost weight, but I’m wearing jeans I couldn’t fit into before, and I feel very comfortable.

What physical and behavioral changes do you notice in yourself as the program ends?

Physically I’m very comfortable, I don’t feel bloated or sluggish. Behaviorally, I’ve started pressuring people around me saying “you’re eating poison, poison!!” I hope I don’t end up alone 🙂

Who would you recommend this program to?

I recommend it to everyone, I pressure everyone, I force everyone hahaha. I especially recommend it to people with chronic conditions who eat unconsciously.

Anything you’d like to add…

This wealth of knowledge is admirable. We’re so lucky you shared it with us. As someone whose immune system has been off for 6-7 years and who has tried thousands of diets, I saw how much more there was for me to learn. Not seeing this as a diet made me even more at ease. “6 cm” was the most comfortable eating method I’ve ever applied. Thank you so much, Sema Hanım, I love you soooo much.

H.K.

What was your goal when starting this program?

First entering perimenopause, then after entering menopause, no matter how little I ate or how careful I was, I’d started struggling a lot with losing weight. As someone who constantly has joint issues, I needed to reduce my body weight. Also, my body is very prone to inflammation, and I regularly have pain. Despite exercising regularly, I couldn’t make any progress at all. I’d aimed to change this situation.

How did the program help you achieve your goals?

Honestly, I couldn’t apply it exactly to the letter. I had an international trip in week 2, and I hadn’t yet gained that much discipline, but I mostly tried to apply what I learned. I can say what I’d learned from Sema Hanım’s previous trainings was quite helpful too.

What physical and behavioral changes do you notice in yourself as the program ends?

Physically, by the end of 3 weeks my chest slimmed 4 cm, belly area 2 cm, hips 4 cm. I estimate if I’d applied it more strictly, the result would have been even greater. I’d also joined Sema Hanım’s other trainings before, and the experience I gained there supported me too. I didn’t force myself — I focused not on what I couldn’t eat, but on what I could. When there was an occasional slip-up, I neither blamed myself nor said “well, I already slipped once anyway” and let go completely. I said, “okay, this meal went this way, you’ll pull it together at the next meal,” and I made real effort at the next meal. I think this was the most beautiful change for me. Sometimes it’s hard, but when it comes to making a choice, my hand goes more easily toward the healthy option now.

Who would you recommend this program to?

Generally a program anyone can do comfortably, but especially if you’re in the process of losing weight and got stuck somewhere, losing motivation, or in menopause, I strongly recommend trying it.

Anything you’d like to add…

Thank you so much for everything — even though I couldn’t join every livestream, I still learned wonderful information. Our road is long, but we have our youth!!!

S.A.

What was your goal when starting this program?

My goal was both to lose weight and transition to a healthy, sustainable eating pattern. I’d been trying to lose weight for a long time but somehow couldn’t succeed, and this was negatively affecting my quality of life. I needed to somehow get my life in order.

How did the program help you achieve your goals?

The program is truly a wonderful program. Throughout these three weeks I both ate with great pleasure and slimmed down incredibly. Planning the next day’s meal every day and doing it exactly as I wanted was wonderful. Being very full and not craving sweets was incredible.

What physical and behavioral changes do you notice in yourself as the program ends?

The physical change is huge. Actually the scale shows -3.5 kilos, but visually it’s as if I’ve lost 10 kilos, because clothes I used to wear when much thinner now fit. Also, despite having no procedures done, I get questions like “did you do something to your face? Your skin is glowing, did you get Botox?” 🙂 I’d had an acne-rosacea problem for a while — right now there’s no trace of it left. I feel very energetic, I sleep beautifully at night, and I wake up refreshed in the morning without an alarm. What more can I list… This program is incredible, it did me so much good 🙏

Who would you recommend this program to?

I recommend it to everyone. I wish it had been recommended to me years ago, or that I’d started the moment I first saw it 😊

Anything you’d like to add…

Thank you so, so much. For your effort, your dedication, your sincerity, your attention, for everything… This is now how I eat. You explained so beautifully how we’d continue afterward. No amount of thanks would repay you 🙏

What was your goal when starting this program?

To be able to lose weight and get back to my old shape.

How did the program help you achieve your goals?

I slimmed 2-3 cm and felt much more comfortable in clothes I used to be squeezed into before. I gained confidence and belief in slimming down.

What physical and behavioral changes do you notice in yourself as the program ends?

I definitely learned to control my hunger.

Who would you recommend this program to?

I especially recommend it to those in perimenopause or menopause who’ve fallen into the cycle of “I can’t lose weight anymore, I only gain weight.”

Anything you’d like to add…

I’m so glad you exist. Thank you so much for everything.

E.K.

What was your goal when starting this program?

I’d previously worked with another health specialist and had diet experiences, including ketogenic diet. I was losing weight but unfortunately regaining it. That’s why my goal now was to find a sustainable eating style, lose weight, and be able to maintain balance on top of that — to be able to build my own program by learning macro calculations.

How did the program help you achieve your goals?

With the program Sema Hanım prepared like a literal school, I fully reached my goal. Now I have the knowledge base to keep going on my own.

What physical and behavioral changes do you notice in yourself as the program ends?

My initial goal wasn’t losing weight, but I lost 3 kilos and slimmed 3 cm in my belly area. My sweet cravings decreased a lot. I still have a way to go. I went on vacation for the holiday and stepped outside the eating program, but I’ll come back and continue.

Who would you recommend this program to?

I recommend it to those who want to learn nutrition, especially women who struggle to lose weight but gain it easily, who have insulin resistance, and who are in perimenopause and menopause.

Anything you’d like to add…

Sema Hanım, thank you so much for presenting knowledge to us at exactly the right times and in the right ways, and for sincerely sharing all your knowledge in a program like this. You supported us even through the country’s difficult times. You delivered far above what was promised 🙂

H.Ü.

What was your goal when starting this program?

To remind myself that during perimenopause, when the proper eating method is applied with determination, I can get myself to the measurements I want.

How did the program help you achieve your goals?

Since I’m a goal-oriented and determined person, applying what you taught into my life wasn’t hard. Seeing the results in a short time was motivating.

What physical and behavioral changes do you notice in yourself as the program ends?

By the end of the program I lost 3 kilos. My lower belly area slimmed 5 cm, my hips and calf 2 cm. When eating carb-based, I realized how little protein I was actually consuming. This awareness is most important for my later years. The feeling of doing something good for myself is priceless.

Who would you recommend this program to?

To everyone who loves themselves.

Anything you’d like to add…

Love. I’m so glad you exist.

M.B.

What was your goal when starting this program?

To learn healthy eating and lose weight.

How did the program help you achieve your goals?

The program took me beyond my goals. It gave me a new perspective. I learned what proper eating means. Sema Hanım is truly someone who teaches you to fish when it comes to nutrition. It freed me from the system I’d been going to until now — made up of ready-made menus whose logic I could never understand and that kept condemning me to constantly seeking other health specialists. Now I know very well what I need to do and how I need to eat.

What physical and behavioral changes do you notice in yourself as the program ends?

I lost about 3 kilos and slimmed 3-4 cm depending on area. I feel happier. My friends say even my skin has changed, and I feel it too. Also, I’m more positive now, which is among the comments I get too.

Who would you recommend this program to?

I recommend it to everyone who says “I want to lose weight by learning healthy eating.”

Anything you’d like to add…

Sema Hanım, I’m so glad you exist…

İ.P.

What was your goal when starting this program?

To lose the weight I couldn’t shed for a long time, to learn an eating style I could sustain.

How did the program help you achieve your goals?

First of all, it eliminated my eating attacks, which had constantly been ruining a good sack of figs [an idiom about ruining things]. Now I can manage my process in a more balanced, healthy way.

What physical and behavioral changes do you notice in yourself as the program ends?

May 11: 93.35 kg — May 30: 89.30 kg

A full 4 kg gone, a 4.3% loss, tremendous motivation!

Waist: -5.5 cm, Hips: -3.5 cm, Legs: -4 cm each.

I truly didn’t expect this much — I danced at home with the measuring tape in my hand this morning thanks to you 😂 I’ve also gained the habit of turning to good alternatives at outside events without making life miserable for myself.

Who would you recommend this program to?

I want everyone around me to know and apply this. I feel sad watching what they eat 🙂

E.Y.

What was your goal when starting this program?

My goal when starting this program was to regain my old energy. I’d also joined Sema Hanım’s program four years earlier and had benefited a lot. Over the last four years, the most significant physical change was entering menopause. On top of an uncontrollable eating urge, a broken toe was added, and things spiraled out of control. Beyond gaining weight, what was truly worrying was that I could no longer find the energy to even get out of bed in the mornings. I don’t deny my desire to lose weight, but energy matters more.

How did the program help you achieve your goals?

It’s so hard to distinguish the correct information among the mass of information circulating about food and nutrition. Sema Hanım is someone who’s put years of effort into grounding all these processes on scientific footing. I’ve followed her for maybe five years. She’s always striving to develop herself further, never hesitating to share her knowledge. My trust in her is endless. Her energy in the livestreams, her sincere and scientific answers to every question, and her sharing her experiences with us contributed a lot.

What physical and behavioral changes do you notice in yourself as the program ends?

Why lie — the first two days there was no difference at all. This scared me honestly, and a feeling settled in that I was past the point of no return. But on the third day I woke up with what felt like an energy explosion, got out of bed feeling very fit. This energy is hard to describe. Not a fleeting thing like the wild energy that comes with moments of happiness, but an energy that makes you feel like you’re standing on stable, solid ground at the same level all the time — strangely, it never decreases, even if I’m hungry. Before the program, if my daughter wanted to go somewhere, I’d immediately list my reservations: “I can’t go around that much, if we’re not walking around too much it’s okay, I get tired quickly.” When the outing day came, worry would fill me — what if I get too tired? This would reflect on my daughter as reluctance. Following the end of the program, my daughter and I went for a day trip to Urla, which we both love. I was quite cheerful and excited in the morning. My daughter said she’d be watching me too. We truly had a wonderful day. We ate out but ate only healthy things. Toward the end of the day, I was still standing while my daughter said she was very tired. If she hadn’t gotten tired, I would have kept going!

The second change I noticed: I, who couldn’t get out of bed before, now look forward to mornings. Where I used to crawl out of bed at 8:30, I now wake up at 5:30 AM, excitedly waiting for time to pass thinking “let it be 6:00 already so I can get up right away.” I’m getting so much done, having tackled and finished a lot of things I’d always postponed due to lack of energy.

What surprised me most was that my pain, which I’d attributed to inactivity from my broken toe, completely went away. I, who couldn’t get up from a seat without saying “ouch, ouch, ouch,” now pop right up onto my feet. The edema in my foot, which I thought was from the fracture, started decreasing. My healing process accelerated. Even though I still have excess weight, I’ve been able to gain all this through healthy eating. I’m continuing steadily. In short, in place of the version of me that had let herself completely go with “there’s no life after menopause anyway,” a completely different person emerged through this program. “Kız Gibi” is next 🙂

Who would you recommend this program to?

I strongly recommend it to everyone who wants that never-ending energy, and who wants to regain health with compassion, treating themselves well, without — as Sema Hanım puts it — “beating themselves up.” I recommend it even more to those confused by the information pollution around them, who don’t know what to do about nutrition. As Sema Hanım says, life continues flowing — good things and bad things always happen. Don’t wait for “this to pass” or “that to pass” — throw yourself into the sea, believe me, you’ll start swimming right away 🙂

Anything you’d like to add…

Sema Hanım, I’m so glad you exist. A sense of trust is so important. I trust you with my whole heart, I never doubted your sincerity for a second. See you at “Kız Gibi”…

N.A.

What was your goal when starting this program?

I have a history of watching what I eat since 5th grade and working with many dietitians — I’m 53 years old now. My reason for starting the program was Sema Hanım’s promise “I’ll teach you to fish” 🙂 Now I wanted to learn healthy eating, establish my own eating system, and of course lose weight.

How did the program help you achieve your goals?

Its most, most important contribution was what I learned about nutrition and correcting the wrong things I thought were right. Being able to make my own daily and weekly meal plan was wonderful. I never experienced the fear of going hungry. Being able to freely eat vegetables and salad, not counting spoonfuls for vegetable dishes, made me feel really good. Having alternative breakfast and meal options contributed to not getting bored. Sema Hanım, bless her, was so eager, energetic, contribution-filled, and clear about sharing her knowledge that she kept me always present and focused. With the written documents she shared with us, she also created a very important archive we can look back at even if we forget things.

What physical and behavioral changes do you notice in yourself as the program ends?

I was already doing intermittent fasting before the program, but I’d always feel very hungry as the snack time approached and constantly lose my grip. Thank goodness I don’t experience this feeling anymore. I still get hungry, but I don’t lose my mind 🙂 My stomach, independent of my weight, was more bloated — that bloating lightened. I noticed the wrong eating choices I’d made in the past. I’m now more selective and careful when preparing my meals. I never used to look at the labels of packaged foods; now I’ll start looking. I always felt too lazy to prepare a snack for myself; with Sema Hanım’s practical recipes I got recipes I could really prepare and throw in the oven in a maximum of 10 minutes. I’m not lazy, I’m taking care of myself.

Who would you recommend this program to?

Regardless of weight problems, everyone who wants to eat healthily should take this training — it will contribute to both themselves and their family members. I highly, highly, highly recommend this training to people like me who’ve worked with many other people but then ended up back at square one afterward. Sema Hanım really does, as she says, teach you to fish. This makes healthy eating sustainable. For my part, what I wanted was for it to be sustainable.

Anything you’d like to add…

Dear Sema Hanım, during the training she once said something like, “I think this is my life’s purpose, I want to teach everyone healthy eating,” and it was so sincere, so real that its energy surely transferred to all participants like me too. If I could, I’d want to convince everyone with any weight or healthy-eating concerns to join this training. Because Sema Hanım has essentially turned the training content into pill-form for us; targeted, short, clear, and understandable. Thank you so much for your lovely energy, your patience, your care, and all the valuable knowledge you gave. With the intention that your path, your journey, takes you in the direction your heart has chosen, with my love…

What was your goal when starting this program?

Just like all the other participants I’m sure, I too struggled for years with eating disorders and various diets that could never be made permanent and never fully satisfied my body or soul. At a rather complicated and intensely transformative point in my life, you opened this program, and before I found time to say “ugh, I’m so busy, I can’t deal with this now,” I found myself signed up. Before the program started I had doubts: “well, let me just learn, and if I want to I’ll apply it sometime.” Then I joined the first livestream and I think that day my life TRULY changed. I actually started without a specific goal and, deep down, to leave my eating disorders behind, and I can feel that I’m succeeding at this!

How did the program help you achieve your goals?

Looking at all those breakdowns I’ve experienced over the years, all those trial-and-error attempts, I’d always caught the right spot but never knew how to keep it going. I’m grateful you taught this in such a short time as 3 weeks! This program helped me by giving both the necessary motivation and all the important information in pill form. In other programs I applied, there were always inconsistent information, uncertain points, etc. As an engineer, honestly, I had no more tolerance for that. I sincerely congratulate you on exactly this point — your up-to-date and broad literature knowledge, and even more importantly, being able to make this so easy and applicable and shareable.

What physical and behavioral changes do you notice in yourself as the program ends?

Let me start with the “shape-related” ones first 🙂 3 cm off my lower belly, 3 cm off my hips, and 1 cm each off a leg and an arm. Even this “small” change let me fit into pants I couldn’t get into! But the real important change isn’t any of these. For the FIRST TIME in my life, I feel healthy and whole with my body. Before, my body was constantly something hungry, something trailing behind me, something whose wants and problems I didn’t understand. That’s really how it was. Without even understanding what I was feeling, without analyzing it, I’d suppressed it with eating disorders until this age. Now, after just a short period of about 3 weeks, I can listen to my body and understand what it wants. I can hear what it wants without the noise of carbs, dough, and alcohol. In return, it becomes very, very happy with the meals I give it and reflects this back to me. I think this is the biggest change and it’s absolutely priceless!!!

Anything you’d like to add…

I’M SO GLAD YOU EXIST!!! The value of the help you gave to me — who had previously either lost weight by starving myself or gained excessive weight, who was never fully happy being present with herself — is truly priceless.

P.T.

I feel so lucky to have gotten to know you and I congratulate myself for daring to join your program. I was very hesitant, wondering “can I really do this,” but I adapted without any struggle at all. I never experience bloating after eating, I don’t get hungry, and I’ll keep progressing toward my goal with what you taught. My belly area slimmed 14 cm, my leg area 8 cm. And in 3 weeks! Now I’m eagerly waiting for September to join the “Kız Gibi” program. Sema Hanım, thank you so much, you explained everything in such beautiful detail… Love..

K.Y.

What was your goal when starting this program?

My goal was to get rid of my brain fog, to learn what healthy eating means as an adult entering perimenopause early, and to get rid of the fat that had formed in my body, lowering my energy and mobility.

How did the program help you achieve your goals?

It helped me understand what healthy eating means and what I’d been learning wrong until now. Besides healthy eating, I also grasped the magnitude of stress’s effect. I used to think “if I eat healthily, my stress control will improve a little too,” but that wasn’t the case. Thank you for sharing in this program that we need to work on this separately.

What physical and behavioral changes do you notice in yourself as the program ends?

Physically, the biggest change was in my sleep quality. My sleep is more uninterrupted and I fall asleep faster. Behaviorally, despite my hormone imbalance, I’m calmer. Additionally, I no longer think healthy eating is a hard or expensive thing 🙂

Who would you recommend this program to?

I recommend it to everyone who wants to live a higher-quality, more aware life.

Anything you’d like to add…

First of all, thank you for your endless desire to share and your sincerity. I was scared off healthy eating and believed it wasn’t sustainable. You showed me the way that it’s possible. I think one of the most effective points is that you make transparent, very honest sharing about your own life. Telling the truth instead of a fantasy is very valuable.

S.D.

What was your goal when starting this program?

My goal was to learn sustainable healthy eating.

How did the program help you achieve your goals?

You opened up my horizons with this program. It turns out the most fundamental criterion is focusing not on what we won’t eat, but on what we can consume.

What physical and behavioral changes do you notice in yourself as the program ends?

I started losing the weight I couldn’t lose for a year with your program. My stomach isn’t as bloated after eating anymore. I gained portion control and carb-amount control. I feel fit and energetic.

Who would you recommend this program to?

I recommend it to everyone who wants to age healthily. I never struggled at all, in fact there were even times I thought what I ate was too much.

Anything you’d like to add…

Thank you so much, Sema Hanım. I started this healthy eating journey years ago by following you. I learned with you that healthy eating isn’t that expensive. I think I’ve crowned my knowledge with this program too. May your smiling face never fade. I’m so glad you exist.

B.Ş.S.

What was your goal when starting this program?

My goal was to be able to lose weight and slim my belly area.

How did the program help you achieve your goals?

It helped beyond my expectations. It drew a roadmap, supported me. Very educational.

What physical and behavioral changes do you notice in yourself as the program ends?

My waist area slimmed. I can wake up more easily in the mornings. It made me feel lighter and healthier.

Who would you recommend this program to?

I recommend it to everyone who wants to learn healthy eating.

Anything you’d like to add…

Your effort was very valuable. As someone who’s never dieted in my life and was far from the idea of eating in fixed patterns, since I’d followed you for years I’d guessed the path you apply would be different, but it was even more beneficial than I expected. Thanks..

D.Y.

What was your goal when starting this program?

My goal was to lose weight and slim down.

How did the program help you achieve your goals?

I especially can’t believe I haven’t eaten bread for 3 weeks now and I don’t even miss it at all. I learned how to replace excessive carb intake in my daily diet with protein and fat instead. I learned how to transition to healthy eating gradually and how to make it sustainable.

What physical and behavioral changes do you notice in yourself as the program ends?

It turns out you can form a habit in 21 days — I’ve gained a mindful eating habit. By the end of this program, I’ve started wearing pants I couldn’t fit into before. Also, breathing exercises were very useful information for stress management.

Who would you recommend this program to?

I definitely recommend it to those who constantly diet and see no benefit, and who want to lose weight healthily. I also believe it will absolutely convince those with zero motivation for weight loss — your eating pattern will completely change, and this will create a positive effect on you.

Anything you’d like to add…

The information coming gradually every day, supported by livestreams and Q&A, was very beneficial. Especially being encouraged to self-monitor made me very comfortable throughout the program. I found it very successful as an online program. Thank you for offering such a wonderful program opportunity.

Ö.Ç.

Last year after the elimination I dropped from 70 kg to 65 kg. Everyone had started noticing my change. Beyond weight, I think it was firming up. Does a person’s face even get longer, or what? You feel good. I made quite a bit of progress on sustainability too. With Ramadan pita and dark winter evenings, my progress hit a bit of a snag. I stopped walking. There were some additions alongside evening tea. Then I saw 68 kg. Then, browsing Instagram again, your DKYY program post came up. I thought, “I’ll also learn how to get back on track when I go off course, with this program.” And that’s exactly what you explained.

I started DKYY at 68 kg. I finished the end of week 3 at 65.7. The first week was very hard. I was trained from the elimination and was patient. Again, I realized I was entering the stage of becoming a slave to sugar once I stopped it. My head got heavy again. I went around foggy-headed until mid-second-week, honestly 🙂 but then you stop getting hungry. I was surprised again and very happy. I said “I’m back.” I forget these things in my daily routine life. Maybe I should write it down.

Target is 63. I’m continuing, of course. Like you said, the real difference is in slimming. I hadn’t taken measurements, but I can tell the difference directly from the pants I wear. Above all, the feeling of lightness is my favorite part. That bloated, weighed-down, unable-to-lift-your-arm exhausted feeling disappears once you stop sugar. I’ve experienced this with you a second time now 🙂 I’m so glad you exist.

My goal, of course, is to be healthy. Before turning 45 (which I will next year :)) I want to draw a sustainable route for myself in healthy eating, stress reduction (whether it’s breathing, yoga, or prayer, I don’t know yet — I hope to discover that in the new mindfulness program :)), and movement. I want to build a sustainable life, without excess, without being periodic. And I want to spread this in my family too — to my husband and my 12-year-old daughter who’s just entering adolescence.

Since cutting down on sugar and carbs, I’ve started feeling more energetic, light, and peaceful again. When that bloated feeling goes away, a person becomes very happy. I want to tell everyone about it at times like this 🙂 I don’t make excuses to avoid walking, for instance 🙂 One of the best parts is that you taught how to come back. If we’ve strayed a bit, you taught how to balance it out. We’re all hybrids 🙂

I love that you explain your programs mostly through cause-and-effect relationships, applicable to our ordinary lives rather than popular examples, that you teach us to fish, that you care about sustainability, and for your sincere warmth. I’m so glad we crossed paths.

E.Y.

What was your goal when starting this program?

My goal was to make a significant difference in my life and especially my eating style, to get a bit closer to my old body measurements, and to remember myself 🙂

How did the program help you achieve your goals?

While I try to plan every point in my life, eating had always been an act done “somehow” and moved past; within the program it became an act that could be done with planning and thought. I think this is the most important thing. Also, seeing benefit as I went made it possible to continue the process with motivation.

What physical and behavioral changes do you notice in yourself as the program ends?

Physically, even though I still can’t fit into my pre-pregnancy clothes, I can say seeing the gap narrow, my period cramps not just decreasing but disappearing, my skin becoming vibrant, and the liveliness I feel. Behaviorally, it may not be quite possible to think of physical results separately from behavioral results, but I could say genuinely feeling alive, feeling prioritized, feeling closer to myself, and perhaps being more “myself.”

Who would you recommend this program to?

I could recommend it to everyone who won’t create additional physical and psychological stress while applying and sustaining the program, and who isn’t in a special period (pregnant, giving birth, immediately postpartum, moving, loss, etc.)

Anything you’d like to add…

I’m not sure how well-known this is, but pregnancy, birth, and postpartum are an extremely sanctified area, full of taboos and judgments, where even questioning is unthinkable. Of course it also holds a lot of beauty and very special feelings, and I do think that’s real, but it’s also a period that wears a person down, distances them from themselves, and where you get judged and looked at strangely — even by your own family — for the parts you question or don’t accept. I think it can also involve a deep grieving process. Because until now, who you were, your present, and your future are completely lost, and this period is full of grief.

If you’re bringing a living being out of your body, and feeding a living being with your body, this situation already inherently contains physical, emotional, and hormonal sensitivities, but during this period, nutrition too can carry the superstitions of what feels like a dark medieval era.

The period is already challenging enough, but on top of that, bullying like “eat, keep eating, crave, eat sweets, eat salty, eat at night, eat during the day,” or the opposite, “stop now, don’t eat, eat but only this, don’t eat that it causes gas, you’ve eaten enough, get full” — after a while these turn constant eating, eating whatever crosses your mind, eating at the first difficulty that comes to mind, eating without even realizing you’re eating, into a habit pattern.

I could say more, but in short, at a moment when I said “okay, let me stop now and see what’s happening, I exist too, and now I need to feed and heal myself in every sense, let me build new habits, let me wash away the current ones, let me take care of myself, let me treat myself well, let me turn down these voices a bit” — at times like this, just as at other times, your group work did me a world of good. I’m someone who benefits from the dynamic and discipline of progressing as a group. That’s probably why I’m like a boomerang :)))

Lots of love.
