yumurta ve spermler

The topic is so personal that I’m at a loss for a picture to choose. I hope it reaches many people and is helpful. It’s one of those days when I know something but can’t stay silent. It reached many people on Instagram, but I wanted this to stay here too.

Those of you who have followed me for a long time, those who are like family to me, will remember. The first time I went to an IVF center, I experienced the shock of my life. I always thought that IVF centers were full of couples in their 40s. I went there, spent an hour, and was shocked to see that the people waiting and undergoing procedures were couples I would have considered children. Their average age was 25-28. Why couldn’t these young people get pregnant naturally? What were they doing in IVF centers? By the way, my problem was entirely physical; my uterine lining had been damaged in a botched operation. They said it would never thicken again, but now, thank God, it’s at its normal thickness. At that time, I was thinking a lot about these things. I was also just getting into Functional Medicine. My personal problem has already greatly influenced my decision to study Functional Medicine.

Recently, my closest friend called me and asked, “Semoş, is there a connection between not being able to get pregnant and diet?” I thought, “Wait a minute.” If my closest friend is asking me this, there must be thousands of people who still follow me and don’t know. I beg you, please share this information with everyone around you who you think might need it (those who can’t get pregnant, those with period problems, those tired of PMS, those with PCOS, those who are overweight, and those with thyroid/insulin resistance – actually, all of humanity, I think, haha). I feel so sad when I see people struggling. I understand their psychology so well.

Why can’t we reproduce?

Because our bodies are damaged. From GMO foods, foods high in sugar/carbohydrates/preservatives, excessive and genetically modified gluten, pesticides, unmanageable stress, high anxiety, broken relationships, sex only for the sake of getting pregnant, spouses who don’t listen to each other, spouses whose scent, taste, pleasure, and gaze you can’t see, from cutting off contact with our bodies, from becoming detached from them…
How can a 25-year-old couple not get pregnant? You know, we are made up of millions of cells. For these cells to produce energy, for the intestines to function correctly and communicate with the brain via the nervous system, for hormones to be secreted correctly, for all parts to function well, proper nutrition is the first condition, then everything else I’ve mentioned. It’s all a circle, really.
The reasons for not being able to get pregnant are thyroid problems, PCOS – along with it insulin resistance, and also “unidentified fertility problems.” This unidentified 70% is what I’ve described.

First, we need to agree on this: this isn’t just a women’s issue. Please don’t take on the stress and sadness of this alone. When I was dealing with these issues, you sent me so many personal messages. I cried with you all. Please don’t do this to yourselves. Mating, by definition, involves two people. If the pesticide residue in a man’s sperm is more than 10%, the sperm automatically cannot fertilize. It’s actually carrying toxins. Or excessive consumption of animal products. The meats and dairy products we can access are all full of hormones. How can we expect our bodies to produce the right hormones when we consume these artificially hormone-laden foods? Believe me, there are many couples who have tried IVF multiple times, given up, and then gone on a gluten-free/sugar-free/dairy-free/organic/plant-based diet for three months and conceived naturally. (Of course, if there are no physiological problems.)

The vagina is generally an acidic environment. Sperm survive in a neutral pH environment. During ovulation, a woman secretes a fluid that keeps her uterus alkaline, creating an environment for sperm to survive. However, if a woman’s body is excessively acidic (from sugar, gluten, alcohol, dairy products, and processed foods), that fluid is insufficient for sperm survival. We weren’t naturally this acidic, and that fluid was doing its job. The mechanism actually works wonderfully, but only if we don’t disrupt it from the outside. A woman’s body needs to be alkaline for sperm to survive.
Every night we produce thousands of new cells. I thickened my uterine lining, which had been damaged by human intervention, through surgery. Plenty of vegetable juice (to nourish the new cells arriving every night) and daily walks for proper blood circulation in the uterus. Gluten/sugar were never a part of my life, and miraculously, my uterus is thick now. Believe me, anything is possible in this miraculous body.

Even if we consider why this problem has exploded in the last 30-40 years, the reasons are actually very clear. Monthly period health is also very much related to this. The PMS you experience, premenstrual cravings, pain, depression… See how PMS disappears when you eat clean. I work with many women every month in my elimination groups. In the last 3 years, we’ve reached thousands of women, and even in the first month, all PMS disappears. This is not a coincidence or a miracle; it’s the body’s natural state. Trust your body and mind. Healthy eating isn’t something unpleasant. Trust yourself first. Break down the walls and barriers you’ve put up. No food or packaged product is more valuable than your life.

It might take some time to accept this idea, but it’s the right path. You can still do IVF if necessary, but know that if you skip this part, the rest will be very difficult to achieve. You absolutely must support your treatment with this part. If you’re having those hormone injections while eating a red packet of chocolate wafers, believe me, the chances are much lower. I said it was a day when I knew but couldn’t stay silent, didn’t I? I hope I’ve been able to give you an idea to change your life.

I’m giving everyone a big hug and wishing you happy times, free from problems.
