monk fruit tatlandırıcısı şeker alternatifi

Dear Friends,

It seems like a new sugar alternative enters our world every day. Monk Fruit isn’t actually new, but since it started appearing on fancy accounts under the guise of “healthy recipes,” I wanted to explain it. (For all other sugar alternatives, you can find my very detailed blog post by clicking this link: https://semaozpekmezci.com/post/2017/11/22/seker-alternatifleri)

Monk Fruit is a fruit. At first glance, it looks very innocent. The fruit’s essence is extracted and ground into powder. Okay, fine, that’s fine, but that powder is 250-300 times sweeter than regular sugar, so it can’t be used that way. So what do the producers do? They mix this extract with Erythritol. Please read the back of the Monk Fruit candies marketed as fruit. It says 90% Erythritol 10% Monk Fruit extract. That’s why it’s called a sweetener. Because what you’re actually being sold is a sweetener that’s a sugar alcohol. These sweeteners are very harmful to our gut flora and our cells. They may not raise your blood sugar, but they damage it at the cellular level. Because we taste the sweetness, it tricks our brain. The brain then gives orders to the pancreas to release insulin. My poor body thinks we’re eating sugar, and the whole metabolism gets confused. Just because a product says “suitable for ketogenic diet” doesn’t mean it’s healthy. I’ll explain the confusion these labelings cause in more detail later.

In conclusion, this is not a healthy alternative. Please don’t be fooled or believe accounts that call themselves “healthy recipe creators” just because they recommend or use certain products. Their goal isn’t to offer you healthy recipes; some do it through collaborations, others through visuals. Please question every product offered to you. Even if it’s from the account you trust the most, please read the ingredients list. If you don’t understand the words, if they seem to have come from a lab, investigate it. How can this body metabolize a product made in a lab? It can’t.

I know you’re all looking for a miracle. Something that tastes sweet but has no calories and doesn’t affect your blood sugar. We’re constantly searching for it, but it doesn’t exist. If it did, wouldn’t I be shouting it out to you?

We have two options:

1. Switch to a healthy and balanced diet and create changes in our taste buds. Constantly chasing sweet tastes is very tiring, and this can change. After a while, the sweets we used to eat might become excessively sweet and we can’t eat them anymore, for example. During this time, our gut flora also changes to support this, and cravings decrease.

2. After doing this, we only use the fruit itself for the flavors we love. Not the juice, syrup, pulp, or waste.

I explain how to do all this in great detail in my 3-Part Elimination Refreshment program, which lasts for 4 weeks. We start on April 27th. It includes both information and practical application. See you in another sugar alternative! 🙂

With love,

Sema
