Sabah Rutinlerim

It was time to gather my morning routines together! I’ve always talked about them separately, but I’ve compiled them all in one place for you. 🙂

🌸 I wake up around 6-6:30 in the morning. First, I give Dino and Inias a big kiss. Then I open the window and gaze at the rising sun to my heart’s content. I took the photo above this morning.

🌸 Oil Pulling
First, I do oil pulling in my mouth with coconut oil. I filmed a video so it doesn’t seem like a big deal, it’s very simple. I don’t wait in the bathroom while doing this. I open the windows, feed the kids. You can even do it while getting dressed or preparing breakfast if you’re leaving the house early. It’s recommended to do this for 5-20 minutes. I’ve never been able to reach 20 minutes. The trick is to use 1 teaspoon so there’s no discomfort while rinsing. As with nutrition and everything else, I’m not looking for perfection. I do as much as I can. And it works, of course. Look at how white my teeth are. 😀

This process can also be done with sesame or other vegetable oils (olive oil isn’t recommended because of its high acidity). Then I remove it with a napkin and throw it away.

🌸 Tongue Scraper
I also do tongue scraping. I’m very happy with this tool. But if you can’t find one, even the back of a spoon will do.

After oiling, I scrape my tongue 4-5 times with this tongue scraper. I used to use the plastic one. I switched to the metal one and now I have a real tongue scraper. There’s an incredible difference. The metal one cleans like a razor.

Tongue color is actually an indicator of your body’s health. In a healthy body, the tongue should be pink. If it’s white, it means there are too many toxins and an increase in bad bacteria in the gut. You need to scrape off the white part of the tongue.

If you don’t go too far back when scraping your tongue, you won’t get nauseous. Believe me, writing it down takes longer than doing it. 😀

🌸 Tooth Brushing
Then, classic tooth brushing. Since I switched to oil pulling and the toothbrush in the photo, my tartar problem is completely gone. 😀

🌸 Nasal Pot
I’m also washing my nose with a nasal pot.

I’ve been somewhat allergic since childhood. My biggest allergy is to house dust. That’s why I became a cleaning fanatic 😅 Instead of sneezing and having a stuffy nose, I used to prefer vacuuming the house frequently, until the robot vacuum cleaner came to my rescue.

But the dust flying around still triggers my allergies. How does this manifest? On average, I sneeze 15-20 times in a row, then a long period of nasal congestion, followed by a runny nose for half a day.

By the way, it also decreases a lot when I reduce dairy products. Dairy products generally swell the sinuses a lot and trigger inflammation in that area.

Having a stuffy nose while doing yoga and breathing exercises in the mornings is very bothersome. I thought, “If these people used this method before breathing exercises thousands of years ago, they must know something,” because traditional methods always work. I’ve always seen this happen.

I’m very happy with this nasal pot. Following your suggestions, I’ve switched to using boiled and cooled water.

1.5 liters of water (boiled and cooled)

1 tablespoon sea or Himalayan salt

1 teaspoon baking soda

This lasts for days. I tilt my head slightly to the side, and the water flows from the right nostril to the left, and vice versa, cleaning the entire nostril thoroughly 😀 Having clear nostrils is amazing! 😀 This has become my biggest help with allergies and nasal congestion after diet. (I didn’t explain the process perfectly, you can check on Google). In short, I love it, I approve of it, it’s a must-have for me. 😀

Rinse kits sold in pharmacies do the same job, but the water rushes up quickly, which bothers me. This one flows slowly, which is more convenient for me. The choice is yours, of course. 😀

Wishing you all mornings filled with good routines and wonderful days 🌸💗
