This title reveals my age. If anyone remembers this cartoon, we’re from the same era. The power is mine now! How? With my vegetable juices…
About 4-5 years ago, when vegetable juice drinking and liquid detoxes were in vogue, I bought myself a one-day liquid detox package. Although they tasted delicious, I couldn’t even last until the end of the day. In the late afternoon, my head was splitting with a burning headache, and the detox was a lie. I found happiness with a cheese toast, thinking, “Chewing is key.”
Since then, whenever someone mentions liquid nutrition, I run away. When asked, I close the subject by saying, “I’m unhappy if I don’t chew my food, and I’m against liquid nutrition,” but I’ve learned once again that you shouldn’t make sweeping statements.
At the school I’m currently attending, we spent a week just learning about the benefits of this method. It has so many advantages that I had to adapt it to my life somehow. After extensive research, I bought a “slow juicer.” I got my vegetables and started juicing them with great pleasure. Slow juicers use bladeless technology and extract the juice by essentially crushing the vegetables. Very little pulp is left, and the juice can be used for up to 72 hours. Although it seemed a bit expensive at first, we can only obtain the highest amount of vitamins with these machines.
Why juice vegetables when you can eat them with their pulp?
This is the general question on everyone’s mind. Actually, if we view these vegetable juices as an additional nutritional supplement, the logic becomes much simpler. We’ll still eat 4-5 servings of vegetables throughout the day. The vitamins from the vegetable juices we drink, in addition to the vegetables we eat, will provide our bodies with extra resistance. We can drink the juice of so many vegetables in one go that we wouldn’t normally be able to eat them all at once. We’re introducing far more vitamins into our bodies in one go than we could get by eating them all day.
Life becomes much better when we use vegetable juices as a supplement instead of replacing a meal. Because social media and advertisements have portrayed vegetable juices as something we should replace a meal with, I’ve always put off using these wonderful, beneficial juices.
How do I use them?
The routine I’ve established has worked for me. I eat breakfast and lunch at my normal times. I’ve moved my dinner to an earlier time. I don’t have any snacks between lunch and dinner, and I eat dinner around 5 or 6 pm. Eating dinner as early as possible is very beneficial for our bodies.
The entire digestive system rests until morning.
This guarantees you’ll wake up with a flat stomach the next morning.
It also significantly accelerates your weight loss.
I drink my vegetable juice around 8 PM. This way, I don’t get hungry at night, but because I eat dinner early, my stomach feels like a wall the next day.
Changes in my body after drinking vegetable juice
I lost a little more weight using the method I mentioned above.
I’d been having a few too many indulgences lately. I noticed my body wasn’t retaining the edema caused by those indulgences at all.
I felt my intestines were very happy. I generally have problems with my intestines. My problems are almost gone.
The feeling of hunger and hypoglycemia disappeared. The vegetable juice I drank in the evening, with little or no fruit, kept me very full.
How do I make it?
So far, I’ve made it by mixing whatever ingredients I have on hand, and I’ve always achieved delicious results. The ingredients below are for the juices in the image above.
Green juice: This mixture is great for reducing edema.
Kale
Parsley
Zucchini
Celery stalk
Lemon
Half a pomegranate
A very thin slice of pineapple
Red Juice: I’m absolutely in love with the color of this juice. It’s become a storehouse of antioxidants.
Purple Cabbage
Beetroot
A small red apple
Carrot
Black carrot (turnip)
I wish everyone healthy, happy, and sugar-free days.
