Long ago in India, a thief fleeing from soldiers found a beggar sleeping in a dark alley. To avoid being caught with the precious stone he had stolen, he placed it in the beggar’s pocket. His intention was to later find the beggar and retrieve the stone, but during the chase, the thief died, and the stone remained with the beggar. The beggar now possessed a fortune that would sustain him for life, but because he never checked his pocket, he never knew what he had. He lived the rest of his life as a beggar.
You never know what you might find when you look inside yourself. Treasures may be hidden, and if you want to know yourself, observe your mind.
We are all very, very special and unique. I wanted to remind you of this, perhaps because we sometimes forget it. When we understand our own worth, we take much better care of ourselves and our bodies. So, just sit for 5 minutes every day to observe your mind. Don’t do anything special. Just breathe in and out. Observe what passes through your mind. Don’t cling to them; just observe and let them flow. You wouldn’t believe the changes doing this every day will make. Remember, we are all special. Let’s repeat this together: “I am special.” I heard this done on a program yesterday, and it made me feel so good.
Have a great day everyone! 🙂
