Biz At Mıyız Yulaf Yiyelim?

For a while now, I’ve been thinking about transferring the articles I’ve been writing for my column on HTHayat here as well. We’re growing every day, and newcomers are missing the old articles. Therefore, I wanted them all to be here too. I’ve usually already answered many of the questions you ask me in detail. I hope you enjoy reading them.

My dear followers who are members of my blog 🙂 Since you’ll receive a separate email for each article I add, you might be bombarded with emails from me these days. Sorry about that, it’s all for you 🙂

Those who love oatmeal love it very much, and those who don’t, don’t like it at all. I think this article might change the minds of those who don’t like it. While eating it in its packaged form is really unpleasant, oatmeal, when slightly modified, reaches wonderful flavors.

For me, oatmeal is the equivalent of refreshing summer breakfasts, warming winter breakfasts, pudding, cookies, cakes, bread, and so much more.

Besides its delicious taste and wide range of uses, it also has many benefits:

It is a whole grain.

It lowers LDL cholesterol, or bad cholesterol.

Oats contain a very special water-soluble fiber called beta-glucan. It turns into a gel-like consistency in water, making digestion take longer and thus keeping you feeling full for longer, aiding in weight loss.

It is naturally gluten-free, but contamination from the production area can occur during packaging. If you have celiac disease, you should especially choose products with gluten-free certification.

It has a higher protein and vegetable oil content compared to other grains.

How can we enjoy this grain, which truly feels like “food” when you first take it out of the package?

Leftover oatmeal

One of the most common methods is “leftover” oatmeal. This is my favorite version, and one I make often. It’s a great option for a quick breakfast for working people. Instead of eating pastries, pies, or sandwiches in the mornings when time is limited, I recommend this delicious and healthy dish. It solves digestive problems and keeps you feeling full.

Put 4 tablespoons of oatmeal in a bowl and add enough liquid to cover it (milk, water, almond milk, cashew milk, yogurt, etc.). Add one or more of the following toppings to allow the flavors to infuse overnight: dried apricots, raisins, prunes, almonds, walnuts, grated apple, or any seasonal fruit… You can find your own best combination over time. Let this mixture sit in the refrigerator until morning. If you want to eat it hot, heat it for 1 minute and consume it. If you prefer to eat it cold, you can take it out and start eating it immediately. You can add cinnamon, peanut butter, flax seeds, seeds, or nuts on top. There are so many options, you can mix and match them every day for a different breakfast.

You can develop many more recipes like this, or you can find hundreds of options on my Instagram profile.

We’re not horses, but eating these oatmeal products gives us the energy to run like horses. I hope you can enjoy this wonderful grain by trying these methods or the recipes on my profile.

Wishing everyone healthy, happy, and sugar-free days…
